The first outerwear piece cut from the Lancashire waxed canvas: a straight work jacket with a corduroy collar, two bellows pockets and a small volt label at the hem, lined in the same loopback as the sweatshirts.
The crewneck is the hoodie's blank without the hood, a heavier rib at the cuff and hem, and the tape moved to the back of the neck.
Three hundred pieces. The jacket was gone from every stockist by the second weekend; the crewneck lasted nine days.
